From the time she was a child she's been a lover of music. She learned how to play piano from a young age and wrote her first original song at the age of thirteen. She was a participant at open mics. Her top artists of choice included David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. After high school, she attended the New York University's Tisch School of Art to learn about music. However, after high school she chose to pursue a music career and abandoned the studies.
